Terra Land NFT’s
With the immensely exciting yet intimidating arrival of the first real estate fundraising day, we sat together, eyes glued to the percentage bar of the Spanish Mar de Pulpi property. We would be lying if we did not say it was a stressful time, countless hours of hard work, sweat, and tears put into our dream of reinventing (and more importantly, decentralizing) the housing market forever. The relief came quickly when that seemingly never-ending progress bar reached the end, and the property was finally sold. The team celebrated that night, and how we did!
Our team celebrated because it was personal to us, everything led to this moment. This is where we also realised, for most of our users it is just another investment platform, a great place for portfolio diversification, but still, just another file in the folder. What can we do to commemorate the historic day, the historic first fundraising, and the historic first property sold via UST? Here is how we decided to make this personal and unique for our users:
NFT For Each Property
For every property sold we will create ten unique NFTs directly related to the property sold, and give them out to the top ten largest fundraising purchasers. As a collection, they will have a similar form, yet each will be easily identifiable from one another. To make the experience even more interesting, we will also create a print of these NFTs (in collage format in the case of Mar de Pulpi) and hang them up at each property as a little easter egg; for those who know will know!
Mar de Pulpi NFT
This is where we share, that we have done the same for Mar de Pulpi! Ten exclusive and one-of-a-kind property-inspired artworks, themed:
With this collection, we hope we have have achieved the right balance between the association of the art with the house sold, and elements of surrealism and over-exaggeration.
This artwork will be transferred to the relevant wallets when the property gets officially purchased (legal matters take time and patience to get them right). In the meantime, we have decided we want to let our users have the ability to view the artwork in all its glory on knowhere.art (thank you Knowhere!). Once we transfer the NFTs, the new owners are able to access them through Knowhere, and if they decide to, sell it!
Note: The only way for us to display it in the collection is through offering it for a price, so we have set an absurd price we do not expect anyone to buy it for. In the event it does happen, we will send those funds to the wallet that was meant to receive the NFT.
For those interested, here is a quick photo and video of the creation process of our first (and hopefully most memorable) NFT.
