The Noble Gift

Dear Terra Land community,

To summarise the Noble Package initiative:

We have chosen to make a donation towards Mrs. Weronika’s appeal (MAZ-981–79878). She is raising six children between the ages of 3 and 14.

Family history:
Following a divorce from her husband earlier this year, after a long history of physical and emotional abuse towards her and the family, she is now left alone to provide for and support their children. The husband has been imprisoned, stripped of custody over their children, and has had a 5 year restraining order put against him by his family.

Despite this, Mrs. Weronika is already worried about what will happen when these protective measures run out. All six of her children have eyesight problems; Marta has already undergone crucial sight-saving surgery. The rest are under permanent optometrist supervision. In addition to this, Krystian had Kawasaki syndrome, resulting in permanent heart complications. He also suffers chronic constipation, which is still under diagnosis, and will most probably result in a colostomy. Subsequently, he is constantly forced to take laxatives and be receive enemas.
The oldest sister also has a heart defect. The younger brothers suffer neurological problems, and as such attend early development support classes.

The list of the most crucial needs is short, they only asked for items relevant to helping obtain sleeping spots for two of the brothers, as well as a request for food.

The list of other necessities is extensive, yet from our conversation with the volunteer that is helping take care of the family these items would definitely improve their basic quality of life.

With this in mind we have decided to fulfill all their requests, especially as they all contributed to improving their quality of life.
We went out shopping, and have already sent some of the larger articles via courier, and the rest we delivered in person.

Mrs. Weronika and her family did not shy away from showing their emotions, feeling hopeful that someone was able to help them so quickly.

We also spent some time with her and the children, listening to their troubling story in more detail.
